Mary Dianne (Sears) Abbott

Mary Dianne Abbott, 70, passed away, with her beloved husband by her side, on July 20, 2025.Dianne was born in Dover, Ohio on April 17, 1955 and was a 1974 graduate of Dover High School. She worked for many years as a home health aide. Dianne enjoyed cross stitch, reading, and other various arts and crafts.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents Doyle & Mary Sears, along with four brothers. She is survived by her husband 48 years, Franklin; daughters Janna (Adam) Redd, Amanda (Brian Kernel) Abbott, & Ashley Abbott; grandchildren Abbegayle, AJ, Noah, Grace, Lily, Phillip, & Izabelle; brothers Bob (Alice) Sears & Doyle Sears, Jr. and sister Louise Palmer, along with a host of nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, July 25, 1pm at Chestnut Hill Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls.
