Martin P. Cahill, 93, died December 24th at Summa Akron City Hospital. He was cherished by his wife Colleen, and beloved son Daniel. Survived by sister Jean Nuss, and sister-in-law Roberta (Larry) Brown. Predeceased by sister Eleanor Cahill. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Martin had a social type personality; was kind, witty, and generous. He had graduated from North High School, and attended the University of Akron. During WW II he served as a Corporal in the Army. He retired from Research and Development at First Merit Bank in 1992. Volunteered at EJ Thomas and Akron Civic Theatre. Loved to travel and visited Europe three times. There will be a private mass.
