Martha was born on August 18, 1928 in Rittman, Ohio in the home of her parents and grandparents. She fell asleep in the Lord on November 25, 2022 at the age of 94.
A 1947 graduate of Barberton High School, she was proud to be a Magic! She loved to garden, read, embroider, anything the color of purple or pink, basketball (her Cavs), shoes and her church was always in her thoughts.
She was a member of St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, St. Demetrius Church Choir, Kolo Srpski Sestara, was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Mother's Club. She always remembered that her father had worked to build St. Demetrius before he tragically passed away.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Daniel 'Dragutin' Toyaga (2005), brother Nikola Prentovich (2015) and her parents Dimitrija (1933) and Olga (Cveic) Prentovich (1997). She is survived by her daughters Donna (Milorad) Jovich, Diane (Richard) Vinkovich and Kristine Williams. Grandchildren Natalie (Joseph) Guillaume, Alexander Jovich, Katherine (Tyler) Carlton, Michael Vinkovich, Andrew, Matthew and Amanda Williams; great-grandson Theodore Daniel Carlton; sister-in-law Jeanette Prentovich. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, December 2 from 5 to 7 pm with Parastas at 6:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3 at 10:00am with visitors received one hour prior to the service at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, 3106 Ridgewood Road, performed by V. Rev. Dragan Goronjic. Burial will be at Northlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the church. (Anthony, AKRON, www.anthonyfh.com)
