Martha Louise Hazelett, 86 of Stow, passed away on November 8 after a brief illness. Born in Akron to the late Ben and Rose Kovacich, Martha lived most of her life in Stow. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Alfred Homer Hazelett; and her son, Alan R. Hazelett. Her survivors include daughters, Brenda Hook and Theresa Karpinski; sons, Dan (Debbie) and Ed (Terri); daughter-n-law, Patty Hazelett; grandchildren, Shawn, Megan, Delesa, Danny, Alan, Brandon and Kelly; sister, Marie Kenaga, and brother, Fred Kovacich; and eleven great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) where funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 11:00. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.

Martha loved her many pets so the family asks that memorial donations be made in her name to the ASPCA.
