Marko Saponja, 65, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022.
He is survived by his wife Marija; children Jelena & Nikola; granddaughter Viktoria; three brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.
Marko was born in Croatia and came to America in 2000. He worked as a machinist at B & C Research. He was a great artist and he liked to build model ships.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, August 16 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 2552 Pickle Rd, Akron, OH 44312. Friends may call beginning at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Woods Cemetery, 3170 Edison Ave. NW, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
