Mark Stephen Clark, age 69, of Green, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born in Ravenna, Ohio and graduated from Coventry High School in 1971. After high school, Mark was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country in Vietnam, earning many decorations and medals, including the Bronze Service Star.
Mark enjoyed woodworking and was a master carpenter. There wasn't a project too big, and he would never turn down the opportunity to help a friend or family member with their own projects. He also loved camping and riding his Harley, but most importantly, Mark lived for his seven grandchildren. They all truly meant the world to him.
Mark had recently retired from Handicare USA where he worked as a regional sales manager for the last 14 years. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending his days with the love of his life, his wife Rose. But, it was also during this time that he found a new love, his rescue dog Ginger. Mark spoiled Ginger with long walks and special treats, and she never, ever left his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Dorothea (Lane) Clark; and sister and brother-in-law, Skip and Jerry Dexter. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rose (Olinik) Clark; son Brandon (Marisol) Clark; daughters, Angie (Nick) Cardarelli and Cara Clark; sister Barbara Apostolos; brothers, Paul, Jay (Carol) and Matt (Sue) Clark; grandchildren, Ryan Clark, Zoe Dellaserra, Brayden Clark, Dylin Davis, Tony "Baloney" Cardarelli, Molly Clark and Tucker Clark; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road. (at the roundabout, entrance off of Steese Rd.) Uniontown, Ohio 44685 where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Pastor Darryl Moulder officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in the near future at the convenience of the family.
