Marion K. (Kropac) Casto

Marion Casto passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024. She was born on a farm in New Milford, Ohio on August 13, 1931, grew up in the Akron area, and spent her entire adult life in Cuyahoga Falls. Together with her beloved husband, Dick, she raised 4 boys : Rick, Jeff, Steven and Greg. As her children grew older, Marion embarked upon a successful career in real estate. She won countless sales awards and put all 4 of her children through college, debt-free.

Marion was the oldest of eight children and her love and affection was spread far and wide amongst her sisters and brother with whom she maintained close ties throughout her entire life. Her greatest joy, however, was raising a family and providing all of her children with a loving home. Later, she was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She loved them all. In retirement, Marion and Dick enjoyed wintering in Florida, traveling, and dining out often with family and friends. Marion was a kind, sweet and loving soul who enriched the lives of many and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Friends may call on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 6-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where a funeral service will be held at 7PM. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish via https://ihmcfo.org/donate/ .
