Marie Jeannette Fogarty

Marie Fogarty passed away ever so peacefully in her home Monday, April 14, 2014, surrounded by her family. Marie was born July 26, 1923, to Frank and Harriet Perrot. She was married to Edward John Fogarty for 63 years, until his passing in 2005. To reach the healthy age of 90 she drank Coke at every meal, often followed by chocolate.
Marie loved to travel, especially to Greece with her friend Penny. She enjoyed having friends like Paula to swim in her pool with her. She was an avid card player, playing many games with Cleta and Vi. She dined with her friend Hazel and loved to dance. In her stylish career Marie was a fashion coordinator for J.C.Penney. She also had been a member of the Women's City Club.
Marie was also predeceased by her brothers William and Frank Perrot, and son in law Joseph Conjerti Sr. She is survived by her children Carolyn Conjerti; and Edward (Sherry) Fogarty; six grandchildren Annemarie (Tim) Crouse; Joe (Diane) Conjerti; Carrie (Brian) Stanley; Felicia (Marc) Adam; Edward Patrick (Julyan) Fogarty; Katie (Tyler) Miller; twelve great grand children Mitchell, Tony and Abby Crouse, Joey, Jake and Jordan Conjerti, Allie and Alex Stanley, Rylee and Marc Adam, Jaxson Fogarty, and Layla Miller.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 5-8 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio, 44301, and Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
