Marie Elizabeth Evans

Marie Evans, born April 17, 1924, died peacefully at the Gables of Kent Ridge in Kent on May 26, 2017.
Marie was a life long resident of the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area. She loved her church, playing cards, traveling and baking.
Marie is proceeded in death by her parents, Henry & Angela Trares, her husband Steve Evans, and close friend Bill Cline.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen Crater. Her children, Carl (Yanru) McAninch, Carolyn (Ray) Mason, Dale (Phyllis) McAninch and Sandie (Scott) Filipczak. Her Grandchildren, Debbie Wickiser, Darlene (Don) Simmons, Carl (Cathy) McAninch, Perry Mason, Tina (Gerardo) Valdez, Michael (Jennifer) McAninch, John (Mikki) McAninch, David (Sylvia) McAninch, Nick Filipczak, Jennifer (Mark) Turner. She has 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several step children and their families.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name at your local Catholic Church, or St. Joe's in Cuyahoga Falls, St. Joe's in  Randolph or  St Pat's in Kent.
