Marianne Sandra Ash

Marianne Sandra Ash, 80, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 7, 2018 in Akron, Ohio.
Marianne was born in Los Angeles, California on November 30, 1937 and was raised by her mother Marian Ash. She lived in California most her life and earned degrees in Anthropology (UC Riverside) and computer science. She worked for the State of Idaho as a senior programmer/analyst and retired in 2002. Marianne loved to travel and managed to visit all 50 states. Loving to learn and always loving new adventures, she enjoyed exploring other states and had just recently become an Akron resident, moving here in January 2018.
Marianne loved the arts, interior design and music. She was a talented artist and pianist. Marianne was raised in the Baptist tradition and remained a faithful Christian her whole life.
Marianne will be missed by her loving daughters Cynthia Eccles and her husband Gary, and Sharon Lindgren; grandchildren Angela & Gennifer Eccles and Daphne & Dylan Delgado; nieces Lori Vallen and Lisa Farrer (deceased); and nephews Kevin Lindgren & Brad Lindgren, and wife Mary.
Marianne was happy to move here to Akron and live in such a friendly place. Any donations in Marianne's memory may be made to your local Habitat for Humanity.
