Maria (Schlothauer) Schramm

Maria Schramm, 90, passed away on January 31, 2022.

Maria was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and lived in Yugoslavia before moving to the United States with her husband and son in 1952 to start a new life. She was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church and was devoted to her family. Maria's hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening and a variety of needlework.

Maria was preceded in death by parents, Adam and Maria Schlothauer; and husband, Anton. She is survived by son, John Schramm; daughter, Margaret Davis; brother, Stefan (Helga) Schlothauer; sister, Anna (Hans) Spiegel in Austria; grandchildren, Josephine Schramm, Herbie (Heather) Schramm and Alex Davis; great grandchildren, Liam, Hannah, Josey, Evan and Caterina Schramm; nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be held on February 26 at 1PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E Waterloo Road in Akron.
