Margery Lynn King, 86, passed away on April 8,2026, with her husband Harry at her side. Born in Weston, West Virgina, to Earl and Evelyn Johnston, Marge moved to Akron, Ohio, at age 17, where she began work at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company as a secretary. After working hard to earn her accounting degree from the University of Akron, she was hired as an accountant at Goodyear and retired after 27 years of service. In 1973, Marge married her soulmate Harry King, with whom she traveled to at least 40 states over the years. She especially loved Arizona and Utah. Marge loved the Cleveland Indians and scored many of their games, including Barker's perfect game. She and Harry traveled out west to Corbett Field many times to watch spring training. Marge had an exceptionally warm-hearted and caring approach to life and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
Marge is survived by her husband Harry, son Geoffrey Scott King, grandson Ian Scott King, granddaughter Melody Music King, brother-in-law Bob (Irene) King and an extensive family of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
