Margarite Ann (Sharnsky) Lloyd

Margarite Ann Lloyd, 93, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 after a long illness.

Marge was born in Akron to the late Stefan & Rose Sharnsky and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Firestone Park United Methodist Church. Marge was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching gameshows. Most of all, Marge loved all her kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids.

In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her 10 siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years Robert Lloyd; daughters Denise (Jeff Hutmacher) Peake and Robin (Damir) Petkovic; grandchildren Neil (Katrina) & Craig (Andrea) Petkovic and Jeffrey Hutmacher; greatgrandchildren Landon, Alaina, Carter, and Amelia; and many nieces and nephews.

Thank you to the Traditions Hospice, especially, Diana, Kim and Tashina, for their compassionate care of Marge over the past year.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N Firestone Blvd, Akron OH 44301, where the family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
