Margaret S. Miskalo

Margaret S. Miskalo, 91, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015.
She was born in Akron and was an original "Rosie the Riveter" working for Goodyear Aircraft during World War II. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Katharina Somody, Sr.; siblings, Jerald M. (Jerry) Somody, Helen Rajniak, Ann (Michael) Mitchen and Andrew Somody; and brother-in-law, Hassel Beasley. She is survived by her husband, John; children, David (Carolyn) Beasley, Richard Beasley and Eddy (Patty) Beasley; step-children, Mary Cusack and Stephen (Elizabeth) Miskalo; brother-in-law, Cecil (Faye) Beasley; sister-in-law, Pauline Beasley; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service prayers will be held Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Monday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
