Margaret "Marge" Elizabeth Farkas-Hinkle passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, and entered her eternal home in Heaven. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kaye L. Rusov; son, James P. Farkas; daughter-in-law, Patty Horner (Jon); granddaughter, Amanda Brouse (Joseph); grandson, James "Bo" Farkas (Maggie); great-grandson, Theo; great-granddaughters, Zoey Rose and Stevie Marge; and a great-granddaughter expected in November. She is also survived by many cherished friends who became family to her and whom she lovingly considered her sisters, daughters, and sons.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Marge embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. During her high school years, she served as a spirited majorette. She later attended the University of Akron and Kent State University where she continued her education and lifelong pursuit of learning. At Kent State, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, an experience that reflected her warmth, leadership, and gift for forming lasting friendships.

She delighted in dance and shared that love with others as an instructor at the Hungarian American Club. It was through her involvement in the Hungarian American Club that she met her first husband, James, beginning a new chapter of love. Following their marriage, Marge and James lived in Puerto Rico while he served in the United States Navy.

She had various roles during her working years, including working for a bank, junior high school, support roles for a commercial real estate company, and as PTA president. Her greatest joy and proudest calling were being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was the heart of who she was, and her true legacy is found in the love she poured into them.

A woman of deep and enduring faith, Marge later became a faithful member of The Chapel in Green, where her love for the Lord and her commitment to serving others were evident throughout her life.

Marge's greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply. Her home was a place where love was served as generously as the meals she prepared. She found great joy in cooking and baking because she loved bringing people together. She celebrated her family's joys, carried their burdens, prayed for them, and loved them with her whole heart. Family gatherings around her table were filled with laughter, delicious meals, and memories that will be treasured for generations.

Marge devoted much of her life to encouraging and walking alongside women seeking hope and healing. She saw beyond people's pasts and recognized the beauty, dignity, and God-given worth within each person. With gentle wisdom, patience, and grace, she offered encouragement without judgment and became a source of strength for countless lives. Many found renewed beginnings because Marge believed in them long before they believed in themselves.

Marge's life left an imprint on every heart she touched. To know her was to experience her radiant spirit, genuine kindness, unwavering compassion, and a love that knew no boundaries. She had an extraordinary gift for making every person feel welcomed, valued, and deeply cared for. Her favorite words, "I love love," were more than a saying-they were the way she lived. Love guided every conversation, every meal she prepared, every embrace she gave, and every act of kindness she quietly extended. She believed that love had the power to heal, restore, and she shared it generously with everyone blessed to know her.

Above all, Marge's life was anchored in her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her faith was not just spoken but lived-reflected in the way she served others, prayed, and trusted God through every season of life. She found strength in His promises, comfort in His presence, and peace in His mercy. She rejoiced in the hope of eternal life and shared it through her actions and reminded everyone she met that no life is beyond redemption. Her greatest legacy is not defined by accomplishments, but by the lives she touched, the burdens she helped carry, and the Christ-like kindness she extended so freely. Her life was a reflection of Christ's love.

The world feels quieter without her, but her love lives on in every life she touched, every heart she encouraged, and every soul she pointed toward Hope. Those who loved her will remember her beautiful smile, comforting embrace, and the way she made each person feel like they mattered.

While our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice knowing Heaven has welcomed a faithful servant whose greatest joy was loving others well.

Marge was preceded in death by her first husband, James J. Farkas; her second husband, Jerry Hinkle; her parents, Paul and Theresa Uhrspringer; and son-in-law, Joseph L. Rusov.
