Margaret "Peg" Demboski (née O'Connor)

Margaret "Peg" Demboski (née O'Connor), 69, of Akron, passed peacefully at home with her husband and family by her side after a 6 month battle with cancer. Peg was born on June 1, 1955 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Gene and Jane O'Connor. She graduated from Holy Family Grade School in 1969 and Our Lady of the Elms High School in 1973. After working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for three years, she spent many joyful years raising their eight children.

Over the years, Peg enjoyed baking, sewing, crafting, and canning. She loved to share her faith with others, serving in the Bread of Life community, Couples for Christ, and Regnum Christi. Peg welcomed all she met into her heart and home, and every person that she met was impacted by her warm smile and genuine affection. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially at Mitiwanga Beach on Lake Erie.

Peg is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Demboski; children, Chris (Bonnie); Rita (Matt) Biller; Timothy; Jean (Jonathan) Facteau; Catherine; Colleen (David) Ramirez; Joe (Heather); Jimmy (Haley); grandchildren, Kailey, Bella, Michael, Elise, Anna, Landon, Jane, Josephine, JJ, Luciana, Jackson, Isabela; and many other extended family.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Anthony Funeral Home (1990 S. Main St.) from 4:00-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (476 Mull Ave.) at 11:00am.

The Demboski family would like to extend a special thank you to Peg's relatives and close friends for their caring support over the last couple months.
