Margaret Idora Davis

November 14, 1966 — January 6, 2018

Margaret Idora Davis, 51, passed away peacefully last week surrounded by her loving family.
Meg was born November 14, 1966 to Roy and Judi (Joles) Davis in Akron and had been an area resident most of her life. She attended Wake Forest and the University of Illinois Chicago and received a Doctorate in Psychology from DePaul University. She was most recently employed as a Professor of Psychology by Dickinson College. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron.
In addition to her parents, Meg is survived by her brothers Michael (Bridget) and Chris (Joan) Davis; nephews Phoenix and Griffin Davis; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Meg's family requests that donations be made to the Neurology Department at the Penn State Medical Center in Hershey. Donations can be made online at https://secure.ddar.psu.edu/s/1218/02-hershey/index.aspx?sid=1218&gid=1&pgid=928.
The family will receive friends Friday 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron OH 44301. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron, 3300 Morewood Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Cremation has taken place. (Anthony, AKRON)
