Marcelene (Bell) Stewart

Marcelene Stewart, 83, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2021.
Marcie was born in Akron on June 20, 1938 to the late Eliseo & Carmella Bell and was a lifetime area resident, with 16 years living in Florida. She was a graduate of St. Vincent High School. Marcie was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, as well as the funeral luncheon ministry. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed playing golf. Marcie loved to travel and visited many parts of the world with her late husband John, Sr. and continued traveling with relatives and groups after his death.
In addition to her parents, Marcelene was preceded in death by her husband John in 2011 & brother Gerald Bell. She is survived by her sons John (Vicky) III, Tom, Dr. Joseph (Shelly), Edward (Lori), & David (Sarah) Stewart; daughter Joan Zbin; grandchildren, John IV, Lauren, Michael, Matthew, Sarah, Abigail, Christopher, Andrew, Jacob, Whitney, Grace, Anna, Abbi, Tessa, & Lily.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 26, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 27, 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 Second St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
