Magdalena (Tiefenbach) Felder

Magdalena (Tiefenbach) Felder, 93, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, after a brief illness.
Magdalena was born March 8, 1931 to Ferdinand and Elisabeth (Ress) Tiefenbach in Lipovacz, Yugoslavia and came to the United States and Akron in 1955. She was a faithful Member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, German Family Society and the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to cook, crochet, garden and bake and was known for her Saltzkiphel.
Magdalena was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anton in 2014, sister Rose (Raymond) Zentner and sister-in-law Mary (Joe) Wittmann ; she is survived by her children Reinhard (Lilly) Felder and Mary (Lorenz) Hippich; grandchildren Larry (Melissa), Daniel (Traci) and Christopher (Jen) Hippich, Melissa (Kevin) Cooper and Megan (Keith) Hayfield; great grandchildren Jessica (Tony) Smithson, Matthew (Tessa), Carly, Ben, Andrew, Nicholas and Olivia Hippich, Jaylee and Jason, Cohen and Violet Cooper and Mila Hayfield; sisters Maria (Joseph-dec.) Armbrust, Kathy (Peter) Reitz and Trudy (Pat) Curren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron OH 44319 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to St. Francis de Sales Church.
