Mabel Helena (Butler) Randall

Mabel H. Randall, 99 passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. Mabel was born September 22, 1924, to Harold and Marie (Dumas) Butler in Brockton, Mass., and has been a resident in Akron, OH since 1969. In Massachusetts, she was a Camp Fire Girl leader, made/decorated doll cakes, enjoyed family, traveling, and visiting the ocean. Later in life she found a calling, earned her LPN, and worked at Rockynol Nursing Home.
Mabel was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Leslie and great-grandchildren Philip Denis and Alena Mary Randall. Mabel is survived by children Denis (Nancy) Randall, Kathy Dremann and Karen Kiss, all of Akron; grandchildren Jason (Amy) and Jeremy Randall; Douglas (Danielle) and Christopher (Katie) Dremann; Samantha Moss and Sara Kiss; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 10-11am at St. Sebastian Church, 476 Mull Ave, Akron, OH. There will be a funeral Mass immediately following. A Christian burial will be held at a later date at the Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Mass. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Akron Childrens Hospital NICU, 141 N. Forge St., Akron, OH, 44304.
