Lydia Jane Sanders

Lydia (Jones) Sanders, 98 passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017.
She was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1918 and was a lifelong resident of Akron. She retired from General Tire in 1970 after 25 years of service and was a member of the General Tire Women's Retiree Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman R. in 1985; sister, Carol Mullin; and brother, Robert E. Jones. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. There are no calling hours or services at her request. Thank you to Brookdale Place of Bath for her care and also to Hospice of Independence.
