Lucille Spicer, 87, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home.
Lucille was born in Akron on September 26, 1933 to the late Ben & Fonda Galizio and was a lifelong area resident. She was a wonderful mother to her four children, volunteering her time at their schools when they were young. Lucille was an avid reader and she loved to cook and bake. She was a faithful member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Alvah Spicer. She will be deeply missed by her children Timothy (Julie), Todd (Roseann), Theresa, and Thomas, all of Uniontown; brother Benjamin (Carole) Galizio of California; brother-in-law Willard Spicer (Greg Peacock); and grandchildren Rachael, Timothy, Clayton, Sarah, & Hannah Spicer, and Megan Simmons.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Friday, January 15, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summa Foundation, Hospice Comfort & Care Fund, at
