Lucille Yvonne (Genet) Genovese

Lucille "Teebo" Y. Genovese passed away among her close family members August 12, 2021. She was surrounded by love and prayer as her beautiful life transitioned to be with Jesus.

Lucille was born in Akron to the late Frank & Josephine Genet. She was a 1965 graduate of Garfield High School. Lucille had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. She was known for her famous Italian cookies and was matriarch of the Genovese family. Lucille will be missed and always remembered and loved. She is now with her family and friends that have gone on before her with our Lord Jesus.

She is survived by her children Joe (Jennifer), Frank (Mary), & Annemarie (Jim) Price.; grandchildren Alec, Nina, Anna, Jaymen, Julia, Roman, Isabella, Elena, Ryan, Lauren and Erin; two great grandchildren on the way; and dearest cousin Cynthia McLaughlin.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 21 from 11:30-1:00PM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00PM. Interment will be at Holy Cross at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association at heart.org
