Luciana Iovine, born on August 19, 1934, in Pula, Italy to the late Salvatore and Santina Striano (nee: Bozza), passed away peacefully due to natural causes on January 20, 2026, in Akron, Ohio. She was 91 years old. Luciana married her late husband Vincenzo in Naples, Italy in 1957. They spent the majority of their lives raising family in the communities of Highwood and Buffalo Grove, IL and Stow, OH.

Luciana was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and a dedicated employee. She worked along side her husband for over 20 years at the BetCar paper factory, where her strong work ethic in production and shipping made lasting impacts on her many friends and colleagues. She later retired from Underwriters Laboratories where she finished her career. Luciana was always well loved by her friends and neighbors wherever she lived. She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family, who will never forget the amazing Italian dinners she faithfully served them for so many years.

Luciana is survived by her loving sons, Maurice and John Iovine (Claire Pollard); her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Iovine; her cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Reece, and Presley Iovine; her dear sister, Louisa Agostinelli; her nephew Don Agostinelli (Kim Agostinelli); her grandnephew Michael Agostinelli (Erin Agostinelli), and her grandniece Meghan Agostinelli. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Luciana was preceded in death by: father-in law Giovanni Iovine, mother-in-law Ida Iovine, brothers-in-law Gino and Giuseppe Iovine, brother-in-law Mike Agostinelli, sisters-in-law Gaetana, Olga, Elvira, and Gianinna Iovine, and her beloved Uncle Tony Bozza.

Luciana's family invites those who knew and loved her to join in celebrating her life on Thursday January 29, 2026 at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home 3333 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224. Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 5:00 PM and then Father Felix will lead a funeral service honoring her life at 5:00 PM. Loved ones will gather to reflect on her remarkable journey and the indelible mark she left on her family and all those around her.

Luciana will be laid to rest through entombment on January 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264.

Luciana Iovine may have departed from our midst, but her love, laughter, and legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be dearly missed, forever cherished, and remembered with love.
