Lucas Reiter

Lucas Reiter, 75, passed away on March 22, at Medina General Hospital.
Born on November 27, 1937 in Yugoslavia to the late Franz & Anna Reiter, Lucas had been an area resident since 1951. He retired from Sharon Companies in 2003, where he had worked as a welder. Lucas was an avid outdoors-man and especially loved hunting & fishing.
In addition to his parents, Lucas was preceded in death by his sister Katie Leffler & brothers Matt & Tony Reiter. He is survived by his brother Rudy Reiter of Canton & sisters Draga Kercheff and Mary Burghardt, both of Akron, as well as many nieces, nephews, & great nieces & nephews. The family would also like to acknowledge Lucas' dear friend Ellen for watching over, and taking care of their brother & uncle.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Rev. Frank Lonteen officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
