Louis "Lou" N. Matteo, Jr., 71, of Stow, passed away on April 3, 2024.

Born in Akron, Ohio on December 26, 1952, the son of the late Louis. Sr., and Mary Matteo, Louis has been a lifetime resident of Stow and was a member of Holy Family Parish.  He graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School and the University of Akron.  Lou had a successful career working in sales with United Textile Distribution and was known for being an avid sports enthusiast of golf, Ohio State University football, and scholastic wrestling.

His survivors include his wife, Daun (née Nichols); son, Louis Jay Matteo; daughter, Stephanie Noelle (Glenn) Finnigan; granddaughter, Tessa Birdie; sister, Cheryle Matteo; brothers, Terrence "Terry" (Roger) Matteo; Michael (Sarah Jane) Matteo; nieces, Jesse Gibson and Honor Matteo; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be no visitation or calling hours. Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Mass and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
