Louis Bernard "Bud" DeMarco, age 75, cruised into eternity on June 3rd, 2025...6-3, just like the infamous '63 split window Corvette.
Bud was born on May 1,1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-Go Steelers! Bud was many things - strong-willed, charming, loving, stubborn, hilarious, and at times, a little difficult - but never forgettable.
Bud is preceded in death by his father, Louis DeMarco, his mother, Rita DeMarco, and his brother, James DeMarco.
Bud is survived by his son and best friend, Benjamin DeMarco; daughter and apple of his eye, Brooke (Andy) Schon; his beloved granddaughters, Scarlet and Raegan; his sister, Lori (Larry) Gorman; as well as a wide circle of friends, chosen family, and people whose lives he touched with his honesty and humor.
He had a love that ran deep and showed up in fierce ways - a protector of his people, a supporter in hard times, and someone who made sure you knew where he stood, but he always showed up when it mattered most.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Home in Green, 4178 Massillon Road in Green. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12th at St. Francis De Sales Parish, 4019 Manchester Road in Akron.
