Loretta Angela (Grosso) Walchalk

Loretta A. Walchalk, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Loretta was born in Akron to the late Robert and Carrie Grosso and was a lifelong area resident. She found fulfillment in being a homemaker, raising her family and keeping house. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. Loretta was a member of St. Francis de Sales and later Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She and Ed would spend months in Florida for many years.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by son Robert Walchalk; daughter Kim Mikulin; and son-in-law Chris Rinehart. She is survived by her children Dave (Mary) Walchalk and Denise Rinehart; daughter-in-law Peggy Walchalk; son-in-law Pete Mikulin; grandchildren Adam Mikulin, Amanda Mikulin, Cory and Kaitlyn Walchalk, and Drew and Sara Walchalk, and Kenneth Rinehart; and great-grandson Luke Mikulin; and brother George Grosso.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30PM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Anthony Funeral Homes of Green, 4178 Massillon Road (entrance off Steese Rd.), where a funeral service will be held at 1:30PM. No flowers please.
