Loretta (Lori) Jean (Bogard) Ligon

Loretta "Lori" (nee Bogard) Ligon, 68, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her home with her husband close by.

Lori was born December 20, 1956, to Harry and Ellen (Whalon) Bogard in Barberton and had been a Green & Springfield Twp. resident most of her life.

Lori's kindness and warmth will always be remembered, as well as her perseverance in the face of incredible challenges. A loving wife, mother, and sister, she approached life's ups and downs with both humor and positivity. Even on the most difficult days, she kept moving forward, determined to savor moments of happiness. A 1975 Green High School graduate, Lori enjoyed a career in specialty retailing and office management. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crafting, movies and water aerobics at the Green YMCA.

Lori is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Robert; her daughter Rebecca (Matt) List; brothers Harry Lee Bogard, Gregory Bogard and William Bogard and was preceded in death by her parents.
