Loretta Mary (Hunt) Hartline

Loretta Hartline, 58, passed away on June 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loretta was born on June 12, 1967 in Akron and was a 1985 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She was employed by Cornwell Tools in Wadsworth and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Loretta was an avid bowler who competed in numerous local, state, and national tournaments. She loved the water, especially canoeing, kayaking and going to the beach. Loretta was an animal lover and was always taking in strays. Most of all, Red loved her family and her many bowling friends.

Loretta was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Maximovich and her brother Douglas 'Dougie' Schaver. She is survived by her beloved of 2 years (together for 16) Larry; her step-father Frank Maximovich, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 20, from 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home - Falls Chapel 247 Stow Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 21, 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Second St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
