Loren Douglas Dreier

Loren "Sonny" Douglas Dreier, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Akron City Hospital. He was born August 31, 1936.

Loren is survived by his wife Natalie; son Loren, daughter-in-law Elvira, son Michael, daughter-in-law Kim, grandson Vann, daughter Jill and sweetest granddaughter Ida Rose, daughter Holly; brother-in-law Michael Capes, nephew Mike Capes and niece Julie Hourigan; cousins Sandra and David Nickles, Pat Morrow, Marsha Lee Cothren; and his many friends with whom he worked, fished, played poker, and enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 10:00 am at Visitation of Mary Catholic Church, 55 Broad Street, Akron OH 44305 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment with Military Honors will take place Monday, June 14, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A procession will form at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron at 1:00 pm.
