Lois Janet Miller, 85, of Akron, OH, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on June 19, 2014.
Lois was born on May 3, 1929 to Lindsay & Ruth Eddy and was a graduate of East High School. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph R. Miller.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother and began her walk with Christ on October 13, 1946. Lois was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed praying with people at the altar and leading them to Jesus Christ. She enjoyed leading the Thursday Ladies Bible Study until her health would not let her continue.
Lois is survived by her three children Larry (Dianna) Miller of Massillon, Dianne (Stephen) Keller of Lakemore, and Darin (Tammy) Miller of Carrollton, OH; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and church members.
The family will receive friends TODAY, from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral will take place on Saturday, 11 am, at the Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd. Akron, OH 44301, where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church or to the Haven of Rest Ministries 175 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44308.
