Lois Cole, 95, of Akron, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family, Tuesday August 13, 2024. Lois was a beloved mother, daughter and sister. Born February 28, 1929 in Camden, WV, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Leatha B, Lough (nee: McCumbers)

She was a strong woman of faith and a lifelong member of Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, John H. Cole, and son Donald L. Cole.

Survived by daughter, Pam Poling and Mike, grandson Kenneth J. Poling, great granddaughter Hailey Poling, sister JoAnn Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Friday August 16, from 12pm to 1pm at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home 811 Grant St. Akron. OH 44311. Funeral service will be held at 1pm with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312
