Our beloved mother and Baba, Ljubinka Sabotkovski, born September 6, 1935 in Bitola, Macedonia, was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2021.
Together with her husband of 51 years, Slobodan, they immigrated to the USA in 1971 where they proudly raised two daughters, Harita (Rich) Spencer and Filoreta (Scott) Allen. Her grandchildren brought great joy to her life; Audra (Phil) Bulgrin, Erin (Bryan) Volk, Andrew (Jon) Allen and Simone Allen (JP Kalenterides). Her great-grandchildren were the sparkle in her eye, Brynn and Blake Bulgrin, Spencer and Harper Volk who lovingly referred to her as "Baba Nuka." She also leaves behind special nieces Zaneta (Thomas) Reedy, Elizabeth Sazdova, Jane Rash, & Elizabeth (Ervin) Juhasz.
She was a Christian woman, who loved the Lord with her heart and soul. She enjoyed singing in church, playing Bingo and cards, knitting and crocheting, golfing and swimming at the Y. She loved to share her Macedonian dishes with family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by family in Macedonia, Croatia, Australia and Canada. She brought joy and smiles to everyone she met. Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family.
She is predeceased by her husband Slobodan, parents Jovan and Hariklija, and siblings Marijanti, Katarina, Tome, Niko and Olga. She is survived by her sister Paraskeva.
We welcome family and friends on Wednesday, August 4, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
