Beloved husband and father Lindsey Herring passed away after a long battle with ongoing health issues on September 29, 2023, at the age of 75 surrounded by his loved ones.
Lindsey was born in Tallmadge, Ohio on September 19, 1948. As a younger man Lindsey was a United States Marine who owned his own roofing business and later he earned his CDL becoming a professional truck driver from which he retired. He loved to travel, visit family, play the ponies at the racetrack, browse yard sales for treasures and driving the backroads just for fun.
In his retirement he became a doting PaPa to his granddaughters. He became an accomplished artist who loved nurturing the talents and creativity of his family. He loved watching all of his sports teams, collecting memorabilia, eating his wife's home cooking, sitting with his dogs Lucy, CoCo and Nanny, and being in the yard on his lawn mower.
He was always up for trouble, Lindsey was so many things but above all he was always kind, compassionate and a giving person who was always around to lend a hand.
He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Deborah Fay Herring, daughter Amanda Rose Herring-McCaskey, and grand-daughters Natalie Anne and Melanie Rose; his brothers Larry Herring (Sandra), Richard Herring (Sara), Mark Herring (Patti) , David Mills (Jaki) and his sister Patricia Bressler (Linda). He was proceeded by his parents Alfreda and Anderson Herring.
