Linda Carol Varney-Mohn

Linda Carol Varney-Mohn (nee Lyons), 66, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013.
She was born in Elyria, Ohio and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Akron. Linda retired from Akron General Medical Center in 2003 after 19 years of service. She was a certified nail technician and enjoyed knitting, flower arranging and cake decorating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred E. (Benton) Lyons; and brother, James Lyons. She is survived by her children, Tammie Roney, Lorrie (Cesar) Martinez, Tom (Darlene) Varney and Scott (Michelle) Varney; brother, Dale Lyons; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 820 White Pond Dr. Akron, Ohio 44320 where the family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Pastor Aaron Furman officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation.
