Linda M. Olinger

Linda M. Olinger, 59, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center in Copley.
She was born in Akron and was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church where she served as a church trustee. She was a machinist for many years to which she was very proud. She was more recently a community service supervisor for Oriana House from 2000 to 2013. Linda enjoyed camping, fishing and horses. She was even training to be a jockey.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Avis; brother, Michael; and domestic partner, Mary Standiford. She is survived by "her girls", Joan, Lisa and Cheryl; and her beloved church family.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Emmanuel Fellowship Church, 60 N.
