Linda Lee (Clark) Fernandez

Linda Lee Fernandez, 77, passed away on November 11, 2024.
Linda was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 14, 1947 to the late Louis & Grace Clark and had been an area resident for over 20 years. Before moving to Akron, Linda worked for Atlas of Boston, making fine leather goods. She proudly made briefcases and attache cases, one of which appeared in the movie, Mr. Holland's Opus. Locally, she worked and retired from Rite Aid on Waterloo Rd. in Akron. Linda enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzle books and traveling to the mountains in PA to see the foliage and visit family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters Delores, Shirley, Barbara; brother Oliver; step-son Michael and grandson Mikey. She is survived by her son Mark (Beth) Fernandez; step-children Janet (Mike) McHenry, Stephen (Schireen) Fernandez and Teresa (Albert) Smith; sister Sandy; 7 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Linda's life will take place on Saturday, November 23, 1 pm, with friends being received for one hour prior at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
