Linda Clinebell, 81, passed away on December 18, 2021, after a brief illness.
Linda was born on May 7, 1940 to the late Lisle & Margaret Faith. She was a 1958 graduate of Garfield High Schools and a 1962 graduate of the University of Akron. Linda was employed by the Akron Public School for over 35 years. She was dedicated to her profession and her students at East High School. Linda was an inspiring English teacher, sponsored numerous clubs and activities and took great pride in being a student council advisor. She was named Akron Public Schools Division B, Teacher of the Year in 1993 and was inducted into the East High School Hall of Fame in 1999. She loved traveling throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, & Asia; reading and collecting horse figurines.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years, Charles Clinebell; her two Yorkshire Terrier children Mandy & Cody; sister Judy Hall; brothers-n-law Ron Hall & Tom Bokoski. She is survived by special friends Aimee Grywalski and Matthew Kidwell, whom Linda lovingly referred to as her daughter and grandson; sister Margie Bokoski; nieces Kim (Terry) Miller & Kathy Brown; nephew Bryan (Sue) Bokoski; great-great-nephews Charles & Rich Evans; dear friends Linda Cottman, Jo Kirk, & Mary Kay Leidal.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 22, at 1 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Terry Baker officiating. The family requests that guests wear masks and practice social distancing.
