Linda Kathleen Benton

Linda Benton, 78, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
Linda was born June 23, 1938 to Lyle and Kathleen (Jackson) Garman in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was employed by Goodyear Tire and JVS Construction. She was a member of the former High St. Christian Church.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Homer in 1992 and her sister Barbara Garman and is survived by her sons William, Thomas and his wife Melanie, and Timothy; daughters-in-law Jamie and Rhonda Benton; grandchildren Lauren, Brittney, Megan, Abbigail, Leah and Benjamin Benton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5 to 7 Pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron where a Remembrance service will begin at 7PM. Donations may be made to the Haven of Rest. (Anthony, AKRON, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
