Leslie Ann Reetz

Leslie Anne (Burke) Reetz, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Summa Health System Akron City Hospital with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was born in Seattle, Washington but lived in Cuyahoga Falls for most of her life.
Leslie had a passion for helping children and enjoyed her job as a special education teacher's aide at Roberts Middle School. In her spare time, she loved being the costumer for numerous shows at ANTIC Community Theatre where she cared deeply for her many friends and theatre kids.
She will always be remembered for being a mother that would do anything for her daughter, a grandmother who would never hesitate to spoil her grandkids and one who would always take care of others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Burke. She is survived by her mother, Betty (Isett) Burke; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca (Reetz) and Andrew Grimes; and grandchildren, Ella, Alexander and Landon Grimes.
Family and Friends may call on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks or ANTIC Community Theatre.
