Leonard Frank Spada

Leonard F. Spada, 81 passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Akron City Hospital.

Leonard was born March 13, 1939 to Dominic and Josephine (Varrecchia) Spada in Akron. He was a resident of Green for 75 years and was the owner operator of Len's Excavating.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his beloved wife Juanita, granddaughter Jessica, and step-daughter Michelle McGhee. He is survived by his children Mary Jo (Randy) Huckabone, Cindy (Jim) Lowry, Beth (Ryan) Harding, and Mike (Rhonda) Spada. He is a loving Papa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by special friend Sarah Vargo. Also, his step children Theresa (Thomas) Rothwell, Juanita Gayle (Dennis) Hart, Loretta (Michael) Linke, and James (Holly) Moody.

There will be a celebration of Leonard's life on Sunday August 2, 2020 from 12-4 PM at the family home, 4300 Cottage Grove Rd. in Green. Donations can be made to Hope Recovery Community: 200 Highland Dr. Medina, OH 44256 or online at hoperecoverycommunity.org.
