Lenard Mitchell Ware

Lenard "Mitch" Ware, 60, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2024 surrounded by his wife and son after a long battle with cancer.

Mitch was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Akron. A 1982 graduate of North High School, Mitch worked various jobs prior to starting his own company "Copier Consultants, Inc" in 1996. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed long drives through the countryside. Mitch was a proud and active father and enjoyed being a coach and fan of his son in different sports. A kind and generous man who treated everybody with respect, Mitch's love for God and family defined his life.

Mitch is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Judy (Garritano); son Blake; parents Lenard and Radie Ware; siblings Rhonda (Matthew) Patterson, Brian Ware and Wanda "Kay" (Marty) Miller; sisters and brothers-in-law Debbie (Cliff) Combs, Sue (Rod) White, Steve (Caroline) Garritano, Janice (Tony) DiAntonio, Mary (Michael) DiPasquale and Joe (Paula) Garritano; many loving nieces and nephews; and countless close friends.

Thank you to his work family for the endless support and understanding during this most difficult time.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30 from 4-8PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 31 at 11AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 164 W Market St in Akron. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at st.jude.org.
