Lawrence Perry Stanley

Larry Stanley, 81, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Larry was born January 29, 1942 to Howard and Georgia (Osbourne) Stanley in Akron and had been an area resident most of his life. Larry was employed by Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as facility manager, the Retail Renovations Co. and was currently, with his wife Judy, ministering to the bereaved by serving funeral luncheons at the Anthony Funeral Home.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Judy (Caruso); children Sandra (John), Michael, B.J. (Michelle), and Tim (Peggy) Stanley; grandchildren Mike Jr. (Brittany), Cody, Tony, T.J. (Hailey), Nick and Jenna Stanley; great grandchildren Peyton, Teagan, Bailey, and a soon to be born baby boy. He is also survived by his extended family, friends, and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Russ.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4109 Manchester Rd., Akron OH 44319 where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
