Lawrence 'Larry' F. Rozewicz, 80, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2026.Larry was born in Akron on April 23, 1946 to the late Chester and Jean Rozewicz and was a 1965 graduate of Firestone High School. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army Reserves and an expert marksman. Larry worked as a Master Baker for the Kenmore Bakery, as well as an Account Executive in the advertising industry, and retired from B & L Brake. After retirement, Larry worked in the Pro Shop at River Woods Golf Course. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Larry was a die hard Cleveland Sports fan; watching every Guardians, Cav's, and Browns game. He enjoyed boating, grilling, coaching little league softball, golf, joking with friends, and most of all, loved his family. Larry gave in death, as he gave in life; being an organ donor.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 57 years, Judy; his daughters Milissa (Tom) Shrake & Milinda (Mike Raker) Rozewicz; grandchildren Samantha (Cooper Briggs) & Hunter Shrake; sisters Pat & Pamela, along with nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28, 1 pm, with the family receiving friends at 12 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church 4019 Manchester Rd. in the Portage Lakes.
