Lavonne Thelma Crawley

LaVonne Thelma Crawley (Reed), 85, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home.
LaVonne was born May 10, 1927 to Russell and Martha (Brisky) Reed in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. A 1945 graduate of Garfield High School, she was a bus driver for Weaver School for 19 years. She was a 50 year member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church and a member of Coventry AARP 2213.
LaVonne was a long time member of the Hills of Pleasant Valley Garden Club, loved to golf with her husband, Bud and enjoyed boating with her family on vacations and at her son's lakehouse.
LaVonne leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard F. (Bud); children Sherryl Thomas, Kathy Luecke, Pat (Klause) Fischer, Janis Sidle, Cindy (Tim) Hawk and Rick C. (Norma) Crawley; grandchildren Bernie, Sean and Lisa Thomas (all deceased), Michelle Salazar, Fred, Mark, Jeff, Eric and Todd Luecke, Doug Fischer, Jennifer Julian, Brian, Adam, Amy, Emily and Ashley Sidle, Ben and Abbey Hawk and Tricky, Aubrey and Spencer Crawley; great grandchildren Jordan and Josef Salazar, Morgan, Matthew, Michael, Madalyn, Makayla, Lauren, Cameryn, Jillian, Quinn and Charlie Luecke and Wesley and Paige Sidle.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 Pm and Saturday from 10 to 11 Am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. A Celebration of Life for LaVonne will be held Saturday 11:00 Am at the funeral home.
