Laura Neidert

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Kay Neidert, who left us too soon at the age of 51 on February 14, 2025. She was a cherished daughter and sister, a devoted friend to many, and a respected financial professional who impacted the lives of all who knew her.

Laura was born on August 31, 1973, to Patricia and Robert Neidert. She is survived by her loving parents, her two sisters, Kathy Neidert and Rachel (James) Fink, her nieces Lindsey and Cassidy Fink, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Bowman, and her brother, David Neidert.

Her kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone she encountered. Laura will be remembered for her warmth, hospitality, and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends. One of her greatest joys in life was music - she loved attending concerts with friends, having impromptu dance sessions at home, and everything in between. Throughout her life, Laura also found joy in the simple moments, whether it was spending time with loved ones (particularly her kindred spirits at Camp Hatchery), playing Scrabble, cooking delightful meals for others, traveling, or simply sharing a good laugh.

Visitation: A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, from 4 to 7 PM at Anthony Funeral Homes, located at 1990 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301. We invite all who knew Laura to join us in remembering her life and sharing in the love she gave to so many.

Funeral Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 10 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, located at 1580 Brown Street, Akron, Ohio 44301. Burial will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please join us for a reception at Anthony Funeral Homes after burial.

May Laura rest in peace. She will be forever loved and missed.
