Larry Allen Palmer

Larry A. Palmer, 59, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2023.

Larry was born in Akron to the late George and Peggy Palmer and he was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Central Hower High School, Larry worked as a Navy Certified underwater welder/fabricator for over 30 years, most recently at S&B Metals. He enjoyed camping, foosball, and animals, especially his dog Deacon.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Palmer. He is survived by his son Todd Barker; siblings Sue (Jeff) Onspaugh, Denise Johnson, twin Barry (Kathy), and Beverly Palmer; many nieces and nephews; special nephew Ron (Amanda) Palmer; and many other loved ones.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 17 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18 at 12Noon at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends for 1 hours prior. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
