Kenneth Lou Pastor

December 18, 1945 — September 5, 2018

Ken (Kenny) Pastor, 72 beloved husband, father and grandfather peacefully left this world on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Rose Lane Nursing Home in Massillon, Ohio.
Ken was born on December 18, 1945 to Louie and Maryan (Fromhertz) Pastor and was raised on Buckeye Road in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a Boy Scout and attended John Adams High School. He was a proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a hard worker and retired from the NEO Regional Sewer District where he was a pump mechanic. Ken lived most of his life in Copley, Ohio where he raised his two children.  He was very proud of his Hungarian background and loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death and welcomed into heaven by his parents and family members. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Martha "Marty" (Wilson); children, Rick (Tanya) of Florida and Lynn (Brent) Bumbaugh of North Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Talan and Shana Pastor and Carson, Cooper and Caitlyn Bumbaugh; and his sister, Evelyn (Jim) Shultz. He will be missed by all who knew him including his many lifelong friends, the Plumbers, Trenners, Taylors and all of the Kiehl family and many more.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tom Ulrich officiating. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
