Kenneth E. Mehalic, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 27, 2021.
Kenneth was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 1, 1964 to the late Charles & Helen Mehalic and came to Ohio with his family in 1980. A 1982 graduate of Jackson High School, Kenneth started his own construction company, Mehalic Construction, which he ran with his wife, Cathy for many years. He was a longtime member of Queen of Heaven Parish. He loved life, his family and his granddaughter Audrina, who he raised as his own; he was the most generous, kind giving man you could meet.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by siblings Patty, Judy & Bob Mehalic. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 28 years, Catherine (Stewart); sons Cody Mehalic and Aaron (Samantha) Yerkey; his beloved grandchildren Audrina, Miles and Ari; siblings Ruthie (Mike) Kuick, Dick (Margaret), Libby, Sue, Barbara Mehalic and Peg Leach; special niece Christina Anthony; and several other loved nieces, nephews, friends and workers.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, January 3 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off Steese). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road. Interment at a later date.
